About cookies
According to the Swedish Electronic Communications Act, which came into force on 25 July 2003 and was changed on July 1, 2011, all visitors to websites using cookies shall be informed of this. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your computer every time you connect to a site that uses it. If you do not want websites to save cookies in your computer, you can change the settings in your browser. See the browser's help pages for more information on how to block cookies. However, this means that this and many other websites do not work as intended.
Different types of cookies
Permanent cookies
Permanent cookies are saved as small text files in the computer and then deleted on a preset date. They are used, for example, to store settings that the user makes between different visits to the website.
Session cookies
Session cookies are stored in the browser's memory (for example, Internet Explorer) and deleted when the browser is closed. For example, they can be used to maintain a login when the user does one page to another.
Cookies for statistics
There are also cookies that collect statistics via ex Google Analytics, in order to be able to measure the number of visitors to the website.
